When you visit us you'll find we have made some changes with the safety of staff and customers in mind. From one way routes, to sanitising stations, spaced out waiting areas as well as the staff disinfecting touch points after being in a car, we are making sure you are safe to visit us.

If at all possible please contact us to make an appointment before visiting one of our dealerships. This is because we need to manage and limit the number of people in our showrooms, receptions or waiting areas at any one time.

Thank for your understanding at this difficult time for everyone.

We have put some information below we hope you find useful and might answer some questions you have.

MOT's

If you have an MOT due shortly the government has announced that if it is due to expire from the 30th March onwards it will be extended by 6 months an to double check that the MOT on your vehicle has been extended please Click Here . If it hasn't you need to email DVLA at covid19mot@dvsa.gov.uk with details of the vehicle and when the MOT expired.

Please always remember your vehicle still needs to be roadworthy during the extension to avoid a fine and penalty points.

Servicing

If your car is going to go past its service date, a good thing to do would be to check the tyre pressure, the oil level on the dipstick and make sure your washer bottle has been topped up.

There is currently a backlog of customers who have missed their service during lockdown and rest assured we'll be working as hard as we can to get up to date and make sure your vehicles is fully maintained.

Warranties

We understand it could be of concern if you have a warranty that expires but you've not been able to have your vehicle looked at because we're closed. Therefore if it is a Struans Used Car Warranty we are going to extend it so that you have up to 7 days after we re-open to book your vehicle in with one of our Service Departments. For Toyota warranties and service schedules they have advised us that they will be taking a flexible and sympathetic approach to these issues .We would hope that Peugeot and Mazda to have a similar approach but are waiting on clarification from them with the latest news will be posted here. If you think you are going to have a warranty claim after it has officially expired please email us while the warranty is still valid noting the registration number, vehicle make/model and a brief description of the issue.

Roadside Assistance

Toyota in conjunction with the AA are providing FREE Roadside Assistance until further notice to key workers driving a Toyota of any age. To register, confirm your eligibility and activate cover please call 0800 246 824 .

In addition and Toyota Roadside Assistance policies that are expiring at this time are automatically being extended by 3 months.

Motability

If you currently have a car on the Motability scheme and the agreement is due end shortly then don't worry - Motability are extending agreements by 6 months and you will continue to be insured and will pay the same monthly amount.

Also, in light of the current situation Motability only accepting applications from existing customers renewing their vehicles.

Finance

If you have any concerns at all about the finance on your vehicles and payments during these uncertain times it is best to contact the finance company straight away to discuss things and avoid any potential problems.

It can be a little more difficult to contact the finance companies by phone at the moment with longer delays on hold so it can often be easiest to contact them online. Below are the best ways to contact most of the companies we use. If you're not sure of which company your finance is with the easiest way is to look at your bank statement and it will show against the direct debit coming out of your account, or you can email us on the addresses above.

Peugeot Financial Services - visit www.psa-finance.co.uk then click on 'My Account'

Toyota Financial Services - email collections@uk.toyota-fs.com
